Almeta Jones

Departed this life June 5, 2015. Mrs. Almeta W. Jones, age 95, of Richmond. She was a member of the United Order of Tents and also the Delver Woman’s Club. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Jones and one daughter, Lois Dark. She is survived by one son, Eugene M. Price III; seven grandchildren; a host of great and great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Mavis Schilling-Price and Gladys Smith; one son-in-law, Robert Dark; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 1PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 216 W. Leigh Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Levy Armwood(pastor). Rev. Brenda Summerset off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Friday.
