Mamie Bailey

Departed this life June 23, 2015. Mrs. Mamie Bailey, age 97, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bailey, one daughter, Carolyn Bailey, one son, Robert Bailey,Jr., her parents, Minnie Mitchell Wells Nelson and Frank Wells and step father Walter Nelson; and two brothers, Wyatt Nelson & Rev. Edward Nelson. She is survived by one daughter, Runia Bailey Bullock; four sons; Eugene, Benjamin, James and Wilbert Bailey; twelve grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; a nephew, John Nelson; one daughter-in-law, Shelia Bailey; one son-in-law, James Bullock; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Abundant Life Church of Christ, 3300 Neale Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Steve I.
