Edna Ruth Jackson

Jackson, Departed this life January 24, 2009. Mrs. Edna Jackson of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Jackson Sr. and one son, Robert L. Jackson Jr. She is survived by one son, Edward Louis Benton; five sisters, Hattie Scoggins, Selena Ford, Faye Rawlings; Doretha Westray, and Yvonne Parker; two brothers, Joseph Jr. and Johnnie Benton; two aunts, Classie Pope and Dora Williams; one uncle, Willie O. Boone; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; her mother-in-law, Mary E. Jackson; seven sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law and relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church at 12:45PM Saturday.
