Gladys T. Chapman

Departed this life July 10, 2015. Mrs. Gladys T. Chapman, age 84, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Chapman, two daughters, Deloris Keels, Bessie Burgess and one son, Keith Chapman. She is survived by three daughters; Barbara Lee, Sharon Fields and Carolyn Swanson; three sons; Richard Bennerman, and Craig & Paul Chapman; one sister, Lillian Wilson a host of grand and great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Chapman; one son-in-law, Andrew Burgess; one sister-in-law, Dannie Chapman, one brother-in-law, Nathaniel Chapman and other relatives and friends among them a devoted Denise Bangura-Boyd and close friends, Virginia Johnson, Hattie Jones and Queenie Johnson. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1PM at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 812 N. 25th Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. David Frazier(pastor) eulogy. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Thursday.
