Mamie Smith-Miller

Departed this life July 10, 2015. Mrs. Mamie Smith-Miller, age 83, formerly of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gonslao Miller and one daughter, Sheila Smith-Stanley. She is survived by one daughter, Karen Smith-Clarke and one son, Willie J. Smith Jr.; two grandchildren, Brook Smith and Dakia Beard; one great grandson, Bray Winfree; one sister, Allie Brown; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Ian Clarke; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:30PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Washington Memorial Park. Family and friends assemble at the church 1:15PM Saturday.
