Departed this life August 6, 2015. Mrs. Lola Thornton, age 66, of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Thornton Sr.; two daughters, Rochanda Thornton and Gloria Thornton; one son, Clarence Thornton Jr.; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three sisters; Gloria Eaddy, Veronica Stuckey and Rosemary Johnson; one brother, Joseph Jones Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1PM at Fifth Street Baptist Church, 2800 Third Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. F. Todd Gray(pastor). Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Tuesday.
