Melvin D. Smith

Departed this life August 18, 2015. Melvin D. Smith of Richmond. He is survived by six children; Melvin and Rashaun Smith, Cedric and Eric Dorsey, and Alfreda and Jaywaun Leadbetter; a host of grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Bettie Ampey and Joyce Loney; one brother, Irving Smith; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 10AM. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 9:45AM Friday.
