Geraldine McCutchen

Departed this life August 29, 2015. Mrs Geraldine "Jeri" McCutchen of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh McCutchen. She is survived by two devoted sisters, Mary McClaine and Helen Johnson-Anderson; one brother, Cornelius Johnson; two uncles, William Johnson and Norman Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters-in-law, Christy Johnson, Lillie Mae Lewis and Rosa Hinton; three brothers -in-law, Peter McClaine and Woodrow and Oliver McCutchen and other relatives and friends, among them, John Cunningham and a devoted god daughter, Moineca S. Bland. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins, Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Earl Brown(pastor) officiating, interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45am Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fifth Baptist Church Scholarship Fund.
