Shirley Beale

Beale, departed this life September 1, 2015. Mrs. Shirley Beale was born September 27, 1940. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Beale, Sr., her mother and father, Helena and George Lee Brown, Sr. She is survived by two sons, Orlando C. (Shelly) and Thomas Beale, Jr; two grandchildren, Orlando Beale, Jr. and Erin Beale; two sisters, Berthel (Ysidore) Garza and Colette M. Brown; two brothers, Wade A. Brown, Sr. and Allen L. Brown, Sr.(Patricia) a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters and brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins, Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 216 W. Leigh Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Levy M. Armwood(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45 Friday.
