Ellis, Departed this life February 17, 2009. Charles Eugene Ellis Jr. of Goochland. He is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Lee Ellis. He is survived by two daughters, Charlene Harris and Cheryl Payton; one son, Daniel James Sr.; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters,Berta Taylor and Gertrude James; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sons-in-law, Ray Harris and Kenneth Payton; one sister-in-law, Queen Ellis; one brother-in-law, Zack Jones Sr. and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM at St. James Baptist Church, 401 Blair Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Rev. Samuel Barnes(pastor) off. Dr. Gregory Fisher(eulogy). Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Saturday.
