Richard T. Lewis

Departed this life September 14, 2015. Richard T. Lewis Sr., age 61 of Richmond. He is preceded in death by father, Deacon James H. Lewis Sr. He is survived by one daughter, Whitney Lewis; one son, Richard T. Lewis Jr.; four grandchildren; mother, Martha B. Lewis; one brother, James Lewis Jr.(Pam); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted Howard Johnson. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM at Temple of Judah, 2120 Venable Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Bishop Melvin Williams off. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Saturday.
