Departed this life October 6, 2015. Moses L. Barnes Sr., age 78, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one son, Larry Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Barnes; three daughters; Frances, Sheila and Mary Barnes; one son, Moses L. Barnes Jr.; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Faye Mills-Barnes; two sisters-in-law, Queen Williamson and Dora Mae Williams; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted Steve Jones. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Monday at 1PM. Rev. Rose Hatton off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Monday.
