Departed this life October 20, 2015. Mrs. Karen Crenshaw-Thompkins, age 47, of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Richard Thompkins; one daughter, Dana Thompkins; her mother, Joyce Crenshaw; two grandmothers, Willie Mae Yancey and Louis Hedgebeth; two brothers, Keith and Alan Crenshaw; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Vernelle Thompkins; four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 14 W. Duval Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Tyrone Nelson(pastor) off. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
