Gray, Departed this life March 25, 2009. Mrs Maxine Gray of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Gray Sr. and one son, Maxie Gray. She is survived by one daughter, Melverna Gray; one son, Melvin Gray Jr.; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one aunt Barbara Meredith; two uncles James and Henry Clay Davis; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Michelle Gray and one future son-in-law, Charles Mays Jr.; two sisters-in-law, Deborah Gray and Penny Davis; one brother-in-law, William Coley; and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted Carter White. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Monday at 1PM. Rev. Gayle Jones off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Monday.
