Parham, Departed this life April 5, 2009. Mrs. Nellie Ruth Parham of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Parham. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Short and Robin Braxton; three sons; Ronnie Johnson, Earnest Johnson and Melvin Cumming; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters; Doris Terry and Thelma Hawkins; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Helen Johnson and Mahalia Cumming; one son-in -law, Robert Short; one brother-in-law, Hubert Terry; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at New Life Christian Center located at 100 N. Providence Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Bishop Earl Fries(senior pastor) off. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Friday.
