Vera Scott

Departed this life December 25, 2015. Mrs. Vera King Scott, age 83, of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archer Scott and son, Jimmy King. She is survived by her sister, Ella M. Chadwick and brother, William E. King; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Wilhelmenia King; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. The family will receive friends Tuesday 10am at Fifth Baptist Church 1415 W. Cary Street, followed by funeral services at 11AM. Dr. Earl M. Brown(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Fifth Baptist Church Building Fund.
