Departed this life December 30, 2015. Mark A. Slade, age 55, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Slade. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Slade; three daughters; Devon, Melissa, and Crystal Slade; three stepchildren; Rachel, Brittaney, and Joshua Braxton; 13 grandchildren; his father, William Slade Jr.; two sisters, Annette Miles and Darlene Slade; one brother, Michael Slade; two aunts; two uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; five sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday. Rev. Curtis Harris Jr. off. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Tuesday.
