Departed this life January 13, 2016. Mrs. Virginia Jackson, age 78, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Jackson Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Jackson and Brenda Newsome; two sons, Glenn Jackson and Raymond Jackson Jr.; a host of grand and great grandchildren; six sisters; two brothers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law; two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11AM at Star Fellowship Baptist Church, 2223 Keswick Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Larry Barham Sr.(pastor) off. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Tuesday.
