Vashti Davie-Taylor

Departed this life January 23, 2016. Mrs. Vashti Davie-Taylor, age 83, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Taylor III. She is survived by two sons, Eric and Rodney Davie; four grandchildren; one sister, Jean Christian; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Amy and Jacquelyn Davie; one brother-in-law, Charles Bennett and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at St. Peter Baptist Church, 2040 Mountain Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Kirkland R. Walton(pastor) off. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
