Willie Howard

Departed this life February 11, 2016. Willie G. Howard Sr., formerly of Byron Street. He was a member of Friendship Lodge #19(Prince Hall Affiliated). He is preceded in death by one son, Willie G. Howard Jr.(Marian). He is survived by his wife, Louise Howard; two daughters, Sandra Howard Wilson(William Jr.), and Rev. Sharon Howard Broaddus(Edward Sr.); one son, Wendell Howard(the late Frances); 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; one sister, Johnnie Lee Taylor; one brother, Booker T. Johnson(Sylvia); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Howard; Goddaughter Makayla Reed and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at Third Street Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 614 N. Third Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Reuben J. Boyd(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Thursday.
