Departed this life February 27, 2016. Mrs. Josephine K. Hawkins, age 86, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by a son Juarez Hawkins,(Karen). She is survived by her husband, James C. Hawkins Jr.; four daughters; Deborah Mallory(Otis), Ava Hawkins(Corey)Lee, Kim Hawkins-Tucker(Kenneth) and Fay Lomax(Joe); one son, James Hawkins III(Florence); 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Juanita Murray, Dorothy Williams(Norris) and Wilnette Williams; one brother, William Banning; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; brothers- in law; Calvin, Herman and Richard Hawkins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
