Coles, Departed this life April 28, 2009. Mrs. Gertrude Coles of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Coles Sr.; one son, Samuel Coles Jr; one granddaughter, Saida Coles; one sister, Alease Phillips; one brother, James Miles; one aunt, Rozella Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-,Martha Miles; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted, Denise Lovick. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at Mt. Pero Baptist Church in Powhatan where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Patrick Bland(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Pero Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
