Departed this life March 21, 2016. Claude Matthews Jr., age 77, formerly of Richmond. He is survived by two sons, Claude Matthews III and Duane Matthews; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one brother, Gregory Rochester; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Terri Matthews and other relatives and friends among them a devoted companion, Mary Brown. Memorial services will be held Friday 11AM at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Dr. Ricardo Brown off. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45am Friday.
