Departed this life March 29, 2016. Garland Jackson, age 64, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his parents, Garland T(Smokey) and Evalina Jackson and one brother, Theodore Jackson. He is survived by one sister, Joyce Franklin; one brother, Jerry L. Jackson; one aunt, Thelma Fitzgerald; one uncle, Willie Wynn; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives, friends and his two dogs, Cinnamon and Lil Bits. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at New Deliverance Evangelistic Church, 1701 Turner Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Bishop Gerald Glenn(pastor). Interment Roselawn Memory Garden. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Friday.
