Fleming, Departed this life May 12, 2009. Colonial Fleming of Manakin. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Viola P. Fleming. He is survived by his wife, Viola T. Fleming; two daughters, Yvonne Lewis and Shirley McCowan; three sons; Colonial Fleming Jr., Alonzo Fleming and James Tyler; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Wilmore Fleming; two uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter in law Robin Fleming; one son-in-law, James McCowan; three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Manakin, Virginia where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Jefferson Porter(pastor). Rev. ______________________________ off. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Saturday.
