Departed this life May 4, 2016. Wendell C. Burton of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Pauline V. Burton; daughter, Yolanda U. Burton(Craig); son, Andre D. Hawthorn Sr.; one granddaughter, Andrea Hawthorn; three grandsons; Crylon Johnson and Andre D. Jr. and Dershawn Hawthorn; four sisters; five brothers; one aunt and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home 2011 Grayland Avenue. where funeral services will be held 11AM Monday. Rev. David Frazier off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Monday.
