Bernice Elizabeth Spurlock

Spurlock, Departed this life May 16, 2009. Mrs. Bernice E. Spurlock of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Spurlock Jr. She is survived by two sons, Bilal and Ibrahim Siddiq(Chales and Allen); seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one sister, Deborah T. Spencer; three nieces, one nephew and a host of cousins; one daughter-in-law, Aminah Siddiq; two sisters-in-law, Jewel Thompson and Joyce Thompson; and other relatives and several devoted friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Friday. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Earl M. Brown(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family, friends and organizations assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
