Harvey, Departed this life May 21, 2009. Mrs. Meta Harvey of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Douglas Harvey; one daughter, Gail A. Mayo; two sons; Kendall D. Harvey and Douglas W. Harvey; four grandchildren; Vanessa Lykes(Marvin), Rashard Mayo, Devon Mayo and Crystal Harvey; three great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Corine Harvey; one son-in-law, James Mayo; and other relatives and friends among them Dorothy Allen, Thelma Clarke and Ruth Minor. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Earl M. Brown(pastor) off. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Tuesday.
