Blanche Smith

Departed this life May 21, 2016. Mrs. Blanche Smith, age 87, of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Walter Smith; god daughter, Doris Day; step daughter, Venda Richardson; a host of cousins; sisters-in-law, Josephine Ford and Jessie Smith; one brother-in-law, Gerald Smith(Gracie); and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Friday.
