Alvin Singleton

Departed this life May 27, 2016. Alvin Singleton, age 74, of Richmond. He was a retiree of the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Iris Singleton, three daughters; Catherine Robinson, Dziko Singleton and Zahni Bradley; one son, Jeffrey Coles; seven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother, Cecil Robinson; two uncles, Fred and Burton Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sons-in-law, Gordon Robinson and Thomas Bradley Jr; one sister-I- law, Joyce Robinson; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Moore Street Baptist Church, 1408 W. Leigh Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Alonza Lawrence(pastor). Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
