Beatrice J. Turner

Turner, Beatrice Lucille James Turner departed this life Monday May 25, 2009. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Alvin Coppin Turner Sr. She leaves to celebrate her memory her loving children, Beatrice J. Burton, George E. James Jr. and Deborah J. Rash; four grandchildren, Kevin V. Burton, Keith L. Burton, Kimberly H. Tabb and Jerry Rash; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews among them a special niece, Kelly Roberson of New York City; two sons-in-law, Stanley Burton and Reginald Rash; a devoted step-son, Alvin Turner, Jr.; and a host of close relatives and friends among them the Turner and Jenkins families and a devoted friend, Cleon Toombs. All of these, and a myriad of others will cherish the many memories of the one they all loved. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Earl M. Brown(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
