Rev. Marshall H. Garrett

Departed this life June 18, 2016. Rev. Marshall H. Garrett, age 73, of Richmond. He was Minister of Christian Education at Moore Street Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jean H. Garrett; two daughters, Paula Garrett and Korri Williams; two brothers, Paul C. and Russell K. Garrett; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Charles D. Williams; one sister-in-law, Alethia Garrett; one brother-in-law, Melvin Hill and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Friday from 6:30 to 7:30PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Moore Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1408 W. Leigh Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Alonza Lawrence(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
