Brenda McQuay Coleman

Coleman, Brenda Lee Coleman departed this life May 30, 2009. She was an ordained spirit filled minister of the gospel; a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles Curtis Coleman; one daughter, Laurie Anne Freeburn(Paul);one son, Charles Curtis Coleman III; one daughter at heart, Gwendolyn Bills; two granddaughters, Brendan Coleman and Riley Freeburn; one sister, Phyllis Squire; one brother, Edward McQuay(Linea); one sister at heart, Wednesday Alexander; three nieces, among them a devoted Winshell Squire, a host of nephews and cousins; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12 noon at Faith Landmark Ministries, 8491 Chamberlayne Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Randy Gilbert(pastor). Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Wednesday.
