Godbold, Departed this life May 31, 2009. Mrs. Mary Godbold of Richmond. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Rovena Godbold. She is survived by two daughters, Earnestine Mines and Hazel Godbold; one son, Willie James Godbold; seven grandchildren; Phillip & Addison Mines, Rhonda Meredith, Wayne, Clayton; Mary and a devoted Jonathan Godbold; 17 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva Gregory and Earline Felder; a host of nieces, nepews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at Hood Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Kevin McGill(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
