Allen Royal

Departed this July 8, 2016. Allen “Butter” Royal, age 75, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his son, Terrance Atkins, father and mother, Allen and Ollie Royal and grandmother, Kate Johnson. He is survived by six daughters; Gail Dixon(Curtis), Stephanie White, Angela Mitchell(Jacob), Katie Pegram(Earl), Lanier Crump and Connise Bellamy; two sons, Darryl Brown(Serethea) and Damarius Fox; 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; devoted uncle, Lawrence Johnson Sr. and wife, Virginia Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three devoted friends Lin Crump, Theresa(Link) Atkins and Cassandra and other and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 1pm at Moore Street Missionary Baptist Church, 1408 W. Leigh Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Alonza Lawrence(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Friday.
