Departed this life July 17, 2016. Forrest Draughn Sr., age 87, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Draughn and one daughter, Selma George. He is survived one daughter, Dorothy Laverne Young; one son, Forrest Draughn Jr.; eight grandchildren; a host of great and great great grandchildren; four sisters; Mary Cofield, Katherine Walker, Gladys Draughn and Shirley Jones; one brother, Raymond Draughn; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter--in-law, Mernalyn Draughn; one sister-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and other relatives and friends among them Joyce Fields. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PMFriday and where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11AM. Rev. Phillip Knight off. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Saturday.
