Departed this life August 12, 2016. Larry Bennett, age 62, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife Joyce Bennett; five daughters; Katrina Barfield, Tyler Bennett, Shenteirio Echavarria, Joakima Meade and Patrice Bennett; one son, Vic Bennett; 14 grandchildren; mother, Evelyn Bennett; three sisters; Paula Ellis, Sheila Evans and Beverly Jackson; one aunt, Brenda Bennett; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Renee Bennett; four sons-in-law, Roston Meade, Javier Echavarria, Damean Barfield, and Jawaski Johnson; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 10AM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6100 Cornerstone Blvd where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Stanley Bennett(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 9:45AM Friday.
