Novella Delaney

Departed this life September 11, 2016. Mrs. Novella H. Delaney, age 100, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Delaney Sr., one daughter, Shirley Mae Delaney, and one son, Manuel Delaney Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Mary M. Garris and Celestine E. Waddy; one son, Vernon L. Delaney; eight grandchildren; a host of great and great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Armenta F. Delaney; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Graveside services will be held Friday 11AM at Riverview Cemetery. Elder Viola Delaney Watkins off. Family and friends assemble at the cemetery 10:45AM Friday.
