Departed this life September 22, 2016. Menchion Henley Sr., age 89, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by a son, Wayne E. Henley, father and mother Claude and Minnie Henley and brother William L. Henley. He is survived by his wife, Mary Henley; six daughters; Jean Ross(Anthony), Annette Graves(Thomas), Wanda Wheeler(Dion), Margaret Chennault(Nick Jr), Judy Hope, and Brenda Grooms; three sons; Menchion Henley Jr.(Gale), Darryl Henley(Alicia) and Billy Henley(Dana); 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Henley and Alvert Henley(Lorrine); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a sister-in-law, Elenor Payne; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1PM. Bishop John L. Harris Sr. off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Wednesday.
