Departed this life September 24, 2016. Mrs. Mary J. “Maybe” Baker, age 81, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Baker Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Chandra B. Leake and Sheila B. Hopkins; one son, James A. Baker Jr.; three grandchildren; Sheena R. Baker, James A. Baker III and Jasmine R. Leake; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Inez J. Holmes(Raymond) and Betty J. Hicks; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Sheila A. Baker; one son-in-law, Broderick D. Hopkins; three sisters-in-law, Mary A. James, Vivian Maxine Cooke and Rathier Harris; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon. Rev. Lisa R. Janes off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45AM Saturday.
