Departed this life October 3, 2016. Robert Edward Lawson Sr., age 85, formerly of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Lawson; one daughter, Laurie Strother(Keith); three sons; Robert Edward Lawson Jr.(Tama), Lee Coleman Lawson III(Marion) and Kenneth Gerard Lawson; eleven grandchildren; one great grandson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Ethel Morris; one brother-in-law, Junius Smith and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Monday at 4PM. Rev. J. Leon Smith off. Interment Inglewood Cemetery in California. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 3:45PM Monday.
