Departed this life October 29, 2016. Lawrence “Foots” Edwards, age 68, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by one son, Laki Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Edwards; one daughter, Tracey Ruffin; two sons, Lawrence Edwards Jr. and Lakimah Edwards; two grandchildren, Algina and Lakeith Ruffin; one great granddaughter, Zoi Mitchell; two sisters, Rita Henderson and Thelma Wood; two brothers, Maurice Edwards and Keith Johnson; two aunts, Sears Berkley and Allie Brown; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law, Erma Bethea; father-in-law, Cleveland Bethea Sr.; one son-in-law, Lakeith Ruffin Sr.; four sisters-in-law, Demitry Edwards, and Clarissa, Yvette, and Maria Bethea; two brothers-in-law, Fennon Henderson and Cleveland Bethea Jr. and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Friday from 6:30 to 7:30PM.
