Camilla Conner

Departed this life November 3, 2016. Mrs. Camilla Conner, age 94, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Conner Sr. and five sons; George, Jr., Glenzie, Bobby, James & Michael Conner. She is survived by four daughters; Sarah Brown, Pergrinda Crute, Mignon Herbert and Delmonie Conner-Pugh; one son, Kaviet Conner; a host of grand, great grand and great great grandchildren; three brothers; Henry, Julian and Alphonso Georgie; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Sonya Conner; three sons-in-law; Edward Brown, Douglas Herbert, and Kenard Pugh; three sisters in -law; Pauline & Caleatha Georgie and Norma Georgia; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1PM at Hood Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Tony D. Henderson(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Thursday.
