Hicks Departed this life July 24, 2009. Mrs. Sandra L. Hicks of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Leon Hicks Jr.; her mother, Loretta B. Hudson; seven sisters; three brothers; two aunts; three uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; her mother-in-law, Margaret S. Hicks; five sisters-in-law; six brothers-in-law, and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1PM at Great Hope Baptist Church, 2101 Venable Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Earl Bledsoe(pastor).
