Departed this life November 12, 2016. Mrs. Martha Lewis, age 89, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Lewis Sr. and one son, Richard T. Lewis. She is survived by one son, James H. Lewis Sr.; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Pamela Lewis; one sister-in-law, and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at the Temple of Judah, 2120 Venable Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Bishop Melvin Williams(pastor) off. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
