Departed this life November 26, 2016. Mrs. Kay Francis Washington-Pitts, age 82, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Pitts. She is survived by three daughters; Ramona Martin, Jewel Morton and Shona Simmons; three sons; Rachmon Farrakhan, Andrew Simmons and Kim Simmons; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Oliver Martin; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1PM. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Tuesday.
