Ford, Departed this life August 1, 2009. Clyde W. Ford, 89, of Richmond. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Irene V. Briggs Ford, one daughter, Shirley A. Durham and two sons, Charles L. Ford & Clyde W. Ford Jr.. He is survived by one son, Ronald L. Ford; five grandchildren; Patrice D. Anthony, Anthony D. Durham, Kevin L. Bryant and Bernice & Veronica Ford; five great grandchildren; one niece, Dorothy Mae Ellis; two nephews, Lucious and Cornelius Ford; one daughter-in-law, Madge D. Ford; one son-in-law, Marvin C. Durham; three sisters-in-law; Helen Black, Pearline Ford and Myrtle Briggs; one brother-in -law, James Briggs and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 1PM at Grayland Baptist Church, 2301 Third Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Clifton Whitaker(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Friday.
