Cora Lee Pate

Pate, Departed this life August 2, 2009. Mrs. Cora Lee Pate of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Pate, Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Fontaine Ferguson and Beverly A. Wilder; two sons, David A. Pate Jr. and Willie L. Pate of Cincinnati, Ohio; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Louise Ogletree; aunts and uncles; a host of nieces among them, Blanche Jones of New York; nephews and cousins, among them a devoted Pauline Newman; one daughter-in-law, Linda Pate; one devoted son-in-law, Robert Ferguson; and other relatives and friends, among them Mr. and Mrs. Willie Jones. The family wishes to express gratitude to Bon Secours Hospice and Jewish Family Services. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1pm at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 So. Addison Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Friday.
