Departed this life January 5, 2017. Mrs. Georgianna Houston, age 75, of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Willard D. Houston; two daughters, Melissa Houston Dilworth and Joyce Houston Vernon; three sons; Calvin W., Wayne C. and Michael L. Houston; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters; Willie Ann Jackson, Ruth Wilson and Susie Jackson; two brothers, Earl and Larry Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters- in-law, Iris and Amanda Houston; two sons-in-law, Kevin Dilworth and Hayden Vernon; one sister-in-law, Bertina Wilson; three brothers in-law, Ernest Houston, Willie Suggs and Vernell Harper and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at New Covenant Church, 2129 Ford Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Bishop Willie Suggs(pastor). Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Friday.
