Doreatha Hurt

Departed this life January 16, 2017. Mrs. Doreatha Hurt, age 78, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by one son, Arnold Hurt. She is survived by three daughters, Marion Calvin, Brenda Hurt and Ramona Norris(William); three sons, Walter(Antoinette), Darron(April) and Bryant(Bridgette) Hurt; nineteen grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends among them Loretta Smith.Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home 2011 Grayland Ave. where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held Monday 1PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 2611 Bells Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Michael A. Saunders(pastor) off. Interment in church cemetery in Meherrin, Va. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM Monday.
